inc.’d

I got inc.’d, with some great lads and an awesome gal.

It’s been since 2005 that I have had any ownership of a company.

I’m not going to take my hands off the captains wheel this time around, not until this company reaches maturity and I’ve moved off onto some other new company that I will start to build with my our company, thinkalee inc.

The new company is name thinkalee inc. has plenty of meaning and we spent lots of time thinking about it. We say “Think Forward. thinkalee” alee means toward the wind side in nautical terms, we take it to mean “wind at your back” or “move forward” or “go forward” or of course “Think Forward.”.

Now what we are not going to do is get all religious about things that we make, or use as tools, we are going to stay hard nosed and succinct. We are looking for those who have great ideas, those who don’t have the ‘go to market’ smarts that we certainly have. We’re going to own a piece of your idea for helping you incubate it under our wing. Yet in the end you’ll have success you may not have ever gained otherwise. Above all else we are looking for “A Players” who have passion and commitment to their vision at least as much as we do.

Am I daft?

Yes it is bold~!

NO it is not daft. This is beginning to be old hat for me, I’m the old guy, with my group of new partners, most of them are less than 25 years old.

I love this stuff, I love having dreams come true. Lots of dreams are coming true at this stage of my life, and when I love something I really Love it for real, I’m not the kind of person to say I Love and not meant it, I am indeed the kind of person who is all or nothing, I’m the kind of person who does not mince words all that often.

This is why I wanted to get into graphic arts in the mid 90s so I could get into marketing and get into the businesses of helping businesses start being in business. As I have said for years “we have to be masters of the vertical and the horizontal”.

so YAY~! I made it. My dreams are coming true. Having dreams come true feels really really good too.

& I never would have got here without the help from many of you, even those of you who think you have not helped me, maybe even tried to trip me, well by gosh you helped me too, even if you were there in early December stepping on my back when I tried to get up well all you folks did was help me gain strength.

So many thanks to all the people who have been a part of my life and time on this planet and time and space on earth. Whether you will accept my thanks whether you recognise your contribution, I will always thank you all.

What has not killed me has made me stronger. What I am doing now, is realising my dreams, my dreams are coming true.
